Now in its 17th year of publication, the report honors the individuals able to “stand out in the sea of legal services providers to represent the cream of the crop.” BTI interviews hundreds of in-house counsel for the names of external counsel that provide the best client service. Only 326 lawyers in the US made the cut this year.
BTI also asked corporate counsel for the characteristics that make these lawyers Client Service All-Stars. The six most common characteristics are: superior client focus, consistent client experience, exceptional legal skills, unmatched business understanding, outsized value in the service provided and innovative thought leadership.
BTI Consulting Group undertakes a number of client satisfaction surveys in the legal sector. According to BTI’s Most Recommended Law Firms of 2017 released in August 2017, Squire Patton Boggs was among a select group of 19 law firms that, for five consecutive years, have been the most recommended by legal decision-makers.
