We recently reported on the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s new Technology Evolution pilot program, under which certain amendments to identifications of goods or services due to changes in evolving technology may be allowed. There have been just over a dozen of these petitions filed since the pilot inception date of September 1, 2015. However, most of these petitions were incomplete and did not comply with the program requirements.
For those who would like to learn more about this program to avoid the issues that the majority of petitioners have faced so far, Squire Patton Boggs’ attorney Beth Seals will be a presenter in a Strafford CLE webinar on this program on December 15 at 1pm EDT. Our readers can use the link here to receive 50% off of the webinar registration. This webinar is eligible for at least 1 general CLE credit by Strafford, an approved provider.
